Shohreh Soltani to become director

Iranian actress Shohreh Soltani has received permission to direct a feature film named ‘Pouran’.

Amir Seyedzadeh will join the project as producer and Fatemeh Abahamzeh will be the screenwriter.

Receiving her B.A. in Music from Azad University, Soltani made her stage debut in 1987 and appeared on the screen in 1993 with Gholamreza Ramezani’s ‘Escaping the Trap’.

She has appeared in ‘Once Upon a Time’, ‘The Final Shot’, ‘Red’, ‘This Woman Won't Talk’, ‘Murder Online’, ‘Hidden Feeling’, ‘Quarantine’ and ‘The Frame of Mementos’.

Soltani has appeared in ifilm current series ‘Sweet and Sour’.
